Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira was born on the 26th of May 1978 in Campinas Sao Paulo, Brazil. She's appeared in Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira became a member of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC) in March of 2020. She manages the Assassination Witness Project, and is an integral part of GI-TOC's multilateral involvement. Her research at the GI-TOC focus on assassinations, disappearances and other types of violence in the context of illicit economics. Apart from criminal organized, her work is centered on the human rights implications as well as international human rights law. Ana Paula is a graduate of the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (Geneva) and holds an LL.M. Also, she has an LL.M. and an MBA in International Relations at Fundacao Getulio Vargas. Ana Paula holds a Bachelor degree magna cum laude in Legal and Social Sciences by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Her legal experience includes four years of practice with a firm that is specialized in litigation involving public law. She has been employed by non-governmental organisations the headquarters of Rio de Janeiro as well as Geneva.
