Sara Eisen

SaraSara Aliza Eisen is an American TV journalist who is currently associated with CNBC. She serves as the co-anchor for the channel's shows 'Squawk in the Street and 'Closing Call'. She is an Ohio native, and wasn't fascinated by markets or currencies while in college. While attending New York University she interned for ForexTV.com. This was where she gained the first experience of business news. She later earned an advanced degree in broadcast journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. The work experience was for four months with Bloomberg TV, Hong Kong. She returned to the USA and started working in Bloomberg's New York office. Then, she became a anchor on TV. CNBC hired her as a correspondent in December 2013. Eisen has been a co-anchor of 'Worldwide Exchange and Power Lunch' before landing the job of "Closing Bell in the year the year 2018. Eisen anchors 'Squawk On The Street since the year 2014. Her primary focus since joining CNBC has been global news for consumers.
