
Drew Blythe Barrymore (born February 22nd, 1975)[1] is an American actress, director, producer, talk show host and writer. She belongs to the Barrymore acting family. She has won numerous awards and nominations which include the Golden Globe Award as well as the Screen Actors Guild Award. There have also been nominations for seven Emmy Awards, and a British Academy Film Award. In 2004, she earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Her name was well-known as a child actor for her part in E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. After a troubled childhood that included alcohol and drugs addiction, she wrote Little Girl Lost, an autobiography. [1] She starred in several successful films in the 90s and 2000s, such as Charlie's Angels, Never Been Kissed, Poison Ivy, Boys on the Side, Mad Love, Batman Forever, Scream and Ever After. Barrymore was a co-star alongside Adam Sandler in three films The Wedding Singer, 50 First Dates and Blended. Other films she has appeared in include Firestarter, Donnie Darko, Riding in Cars with Boys, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, Fever Pitch, Music and Lyrics, Going the Distance, Big Miracle, and Miss You Already. She also played in her first directorial film Whip It. She was awarded an Screen Actors Guild Award and an Golden Globe Award for her role in Grey Gardens. She was the main character in Netflix's Santa Clarita Diet. She is currently hosting The Drew Barrymore Show, an NBC-owned talk-show.
